GREENHOUSE CAREERS

The greenhouse vegetable sector offers a variety of careers for people with an interest in science and plants, and who love to work in a hands-on environment.

Greenhouses in British Columbia are intensive, highly productive and technologically advanced. Our growers require dynamic people with adaptable, enquiring minds to maintain B.C.’s greenhouse sector as a world leader in the field.

Most of the large greenhouses have a highly specialized team that deals with the day to day growing decisions, the supervision and training of workers, the maintenance of buildings and equipment as well as the overall management of the production and packing facilities.

NOTE: The BC Greenhouse Growers' Association does not hire employees for its members. If you have questions about working in the sector, please contact the BCGGA by clicking here.
